Bakugo says something cruel to Deku in the hallway, and Mic watches Deku immediately shrink into himself. Mic's smile disappears. "...What did you just say to my kid?" Deku freezes. Aizawa freezes. Bakugo freezes. Because Mic has never called Midoriya "my kid" before. From that point on, Deku has two teachers watching his back. Aizawa is the quiet one: "Midoriya, you're coming with me." Mic is the loud one: "WHO MADE MY BABY SAD?!" Aizawa: "Mic." Mic: "I'M CALM." Aizawa: "You're holding a chair." Mic: "IT'S A VERY CALM CHAIR."
