What begins as a simple friendship with Peter Parker through an online Biology course, eventually brings her into Stark Industries, where she becomes a Korean translator fir Stark Tower and grows close to Peter, Ned, and eventually MJ. Somewhere along the way, Peter becomes someone she can't imagine her life without, and Lara Jean finds herself writing him a letter she never intends for him to read. However, things take a turn for the worst when Peter Parker makes a decision for everyone to forget him. Years later, Lara Jean moves to New York for her final year at NYU, ready to finish her literature degree and begin the life she's always wanted. During Christmas, Kitty decides to rummage through her old letters and send them out without telling her. When Peter Parker finally finds Lara Jean, letter in hand, and asks if she sent it, she's left staring at him in confusion. Because she doesn't remember writing to Peter Parker. She doesn't remember Peter Parker at all.
