A surrealist telling of a true and warped relationship I've dealt with some time back. The detachment from reality is only slightly exaggerated, making it, for me, an unnerving memory I've tried to forget that still lingers as a strange line of words persisting in these paragraphs.
He looked like smoke, black, burnt, and scarttered but she looked like the air around, clear, full, and bright. After all, maybe the spiralling chimney could diffuse so much into the air, it could be mixed completley with the good.
