So when she innocently applies for a gardening position and immediately gets hired, she's shocked to discover that her "real" job will be tending to a bunker full of thriving, (definitely) illegal weed plants. He's falling for her too (and she knows it, even if he won't admit it), but breaking through his icy exterior won't be easy. Kathy has dreams every night of a tall elf King who tells her stories of dwarfs and dragons. But they are just stories, so she thinks. But when the king brings her to this "imaginary place" she is in grave danger, for Lord Harlem of the drakes, wants her kidnapped. And what about the three other princesses he talked about? Where are they? She will soon find them. A little bit of love, a little bit of sacrifice, and a whole lot of red hair. Again, most of these characters are not mine, they belong to J. R. R. Tolkien but the plot is my own. Helpful comments alway welcome or even just your comments in general are gladly taken. I do take a few liberties (like travel holes) but try to stay true to the wonderful novels. #wattys2015 #feels

I was never meant to leave that room. I had spent my whole life in there, imagining what it was like on the outside. I looked forward to the day when I would finally be allowed to leave. But that day was never supposed to come. Until James decided to keep his promise. He had always been there, on the other side of the glass. Waiting. The experiment wasn't over. He was still waiting for me to change. But I didn't change. Not until that night. It was dark, and there was rain. The sound of the car engine was loud, but the crash was louder. In the crash, I became something different. I changed. But not for James. This new part of me emerged for one reason; to save her. This story is a first draft and will contain typos and grammatical errors. I apologize for these in advance, and hope you can see beyond them to the story beneath. Happy reading!

Ashley Martin has been through more grief than a person experiences in their entire life and carries baggage that no kid should ever entail. Tyler Miller is the school's scandalous bad boy who acts on impulse, blinded rage and will single-handedly destroy anybody who stands in his way. Then all of a sudden, they're thrown together and despite their destructive past, they're forced to overcome their differences. It's time for Ashley to stop running away from his death glares, blank stares and that spine-chilling scowl that reminds her just how little he cares. It's a fight-or-flight situation, a reincarnation of her past, a chance for him to right the wrongs he did by her. A second chance is like giving someone an extra bullet for their gun after they missed you the first time round. So here's Tyler's gun. Here's Ashley's heart. And here's to their second chance, however hopeless it may seem.
