In which a girl can't go a day without an anxiety attack and a boy can't go a day without noticing

Veronica Grimes comes out of the library to continue studying for Algebra at home, but is stopped when she sees her classmate with four boys she doesn't know at all. Somehow, because of sheer curiosity, she listens to their conversation and discovers that her classmate is getting bullied and threatened, but she gets into the scene. As a result, she is being watched over by the four mysteriously hot guys, being told to never say a word of what she heard during the conversation, or she would be their next victim.
