Their Little Ice Skater On the ice, she knows exactly who she is. Focused. Determined. Fearless. But off the rink, everything begins to change when her coach takes her in and gives her something she's never really had before-a safe place to call home. As the walls around her finally come down, so does the need to always be strong and independent. Slowly, she begins to regress. At first, the ice is the one place where she can still feel like herself. The moment her skates touch the ice, she becomes the confident skater she's always been. But eventually, even the ice can't pull her back to the big girl she used to be. And now, her coach has to learn how to care for the little girl hiding beneath the skater-and show her that she doesn't have to grow up just to be loved.
