Phoebe Foster is a snarky 24 year old that is so tired of her brother James's best friend Charlie's crush that he has had on her since she was 16. Charlie knows his feelings are more than the 'crush' Phoebe insults him with. When Phoebe and her girlfriends so on a lake trip she is met with the realization that her friend Kate is developing feelings for Charlie. Phoebe should be thrilled she's finally getting what she wants but when the pair of boys show up at the lake house to crash the party Phoebe is smacked in the face with newfound romantic feelings for Charlie
