Freedom. An odd term, isn't it? Freedom. Something no one can take from you. Freedom the ability to think for yourself, to control your limbs. What happens when you can't? What happens when that small liberty is stolen from you? You lose reason to live.
Envy, greed, lust, wrath, sloth, pride, and gluttony. All considered sinful traits, all dark traits, all traits that can transform a person. Turn ambitions into horror, cloud the differences between right and wrong. Tell me stranger, what would you do to stop these traits from taking over? Would you be willing to kill?
In a world where the dark is a blessing, a cover for what one thinks is the passage to 'freedom', he fears it. But to be made of the dark, and be in the dark makes you blend in. To become a shadow is a curse, a blood-thirsty, soulless creature. A curse that hurts to fight, but a curse that hurts people around you when given into. So what'll it be? Selfish? Or selfless?
