"We shouldn't be doing this Rafe," I breathed out, his hands roaming around my body, "My brother is right downstairs." "I guess you'd have to be quiet then." 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐡 𝐒𝐭. 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐫. His best friend's sister. 𝐑𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐧. Her brother's best friend. One who sought alcohol for comfort. One who sought drugs for an escape. Aspen Ross is as Pogue as they come. Ever since her Dad left and her Mom went away on business, it's been just her and her brother. Aspen, along with her four idiot friends, has made it her mission this summer to have a good time, all the time. Rafe Cameron is as Kook as they come. He lives up to his nickname 'Country Club', and Rafe, along with his two other braincells, has made it his mission this summer to make the lives of the Pogues a million times harder than it already is. However, trouble, and love, always comes when you least expect it.

- When the Pogues suggests using Briar to get information out of Rafe, it sounds simple enough. Pretend to care, get close, find out what he knows. Easy. Except Rafe isn't what the Pogues described as a crazy killer. Beneath the anger and the psychotic mess, there's something human there, something soft. Something broken that she can't help but want to mend. - After two years away, Brielle Logan Langley thought she'd left her non-biological family in Outer Banks behind. But when she moves back, nothing is the same. Rafe Cameron is a murderer, John B gets thrown into jail, and now they're on a new quest to find the cross of Santo Domingo. Through the journey Briar's caught between loyalty and the one person she swore she'd never fall for again. But she can't help the undeniable pull between them. She doesn't want to admit it, but her heart aches for Rafe Cameron. Set in Outer Banks, following the plot from s2-s3 tropes: - forced proximity - betrayal - angry love confession - one bed - mean to everyone but her - lovers, to enimies, to lovers - cleaning wounds !Read intro for disclaimers!
