Ashen Forest is not a place meant for the living, it breathes rot and secrets, feeds on bones, and never gives back what it takes. When Aelira Thorne enters its cursed depths searching for her brother, she expects death, what she doesn't expect is Kaelon Veyr. A masked hunter wrapped in shadows, bound to a beast, and carrying a power older than the kingdom itself. He saves her life, but saving her does not mean sparing her or does it? Kaelon is a different breed that she has never seen a Dusk-born. The last of a fallen race once meant to guard balance, now reduced to myth and fear. He does not trust easily or love at all. And yet, something about Aelira fractures the silence he has lived inside for centuries. Trapped together in a forgotten cottage at the edge of ruin, desire coils where it should not. Dreams bleed into reality. Longing becomes dangerous. And the forest watches, patient and hungry. Because Ashen Forest does not tolerate bonds, the past does not forgive bloodlines and loving a monster may cost more than a heart. In a world where survival demands silence and power demands sacrifice, Aelira must decide: Will she run from the darkness... Or let it claim her completely?

The Love of Austin is a heartfelt collection of rhyming poems about the many different sides of love. From the first feelings that make an ordinary moment feel extraordinary to the everyday choices that keep love strong. Through laughter, imperfections, trust, patience, memories, and moments shared between two people, these poems explore what it means to truly care for someone. Austin becomes more than just a name within these pages. He becomes part of a story filled with affection, understanding, laughter, and the beautiful little moments that make love worth remembering. This book celebrates the idea that love isn't about being perfect. It's about being honest, being yourself, showing up, listening, growing together, and finding beauty in the ordinary. Because sometimes love isn't found in grand gestures or perfect words. Sometimes it's in a laugh. A little bit of chaos. A quiet moment. A hand held through a difficult day. A person who chooses to stay. And sometimes, it's simply the love you feel when you write someone's name across a page. This is a book about love. This is a book about Austin. And this is a collection of all the little things that make a heart worth loving. This is book two. Book one is The Love Of Lindy. Book three is The Love Of Spencer.

Parte VI: Diários Impublicáveis "A vida é uma história contada por um idiota, cheia de som e fúria, que não significa nada." - William Shakespeare Esta é uma compilação organizada por um idiota, comentada por um idiota e publicada por um idiota. Ninguém a pediu. Ninguém a precisa. Alex tentou ver. Íris tentou esconder. Agora a verdade não tem dono. Ela é pública.

"Human laws are a cage of ink, traveler. But by mastering the language of state integrity, we can turn their own bars into a weapon." Hè Jūnxī is a dangerous anomaly in the hyper-patriarchal capital of the empire. Left behind to single-handedly manage her family's multi-million silver monopolies while her overprotective brothers hold the frontier trenches, she rules her estate with nothing but a cold abacus, a razor-sharp intellect, and a flawless mastery of mian li cang zhen-the art of weaponised courtly deference. To the court, she is an untouched target. To the paranoid Emperor, her house is a "sovereign disease" that must be ground into dust. Legolas is a creature born entirely of borderless starlight and open air. Stranded thousands of miles from the Greenwood canopy by a fracture in space, he understands physical warfare against raw darkness-but he has absolutely no calculus for the invisible, suffocating traps of human bureaucracy. Taken in as the Hè Manor's official inner guardian, his ageless tracking reflexes must adapt to a completely new, terrifyingly dense battlefield of political physics. When a multi-generation-old legal cipher is unleashed by a generational kingmaker to legally freeze her family's grain lines and starve her brothers' front-line light cavalry, Jūnxī and Legolas must form an unbreakable vanguard of blood-trust. Together, they launch a high-stakes, hyper-calculated counter-strategy to trap the ultimate rulers of the human world inside their own system. But in a realm governed entirely by the absolute authority of the ledger, every victory carries a heavy, crushing cost. Can an Elven prince carve a trajectory of true freedom for a mountain stream whose very identity is her ultimate cage?

Prologue The first thing the Republic banned was noise. Not all noise, of course. Machines needed noise. Generators hummed. Doors creaked. Pipes complained in winter. The robots made their various mechanical sounds, most of which Tom had never bothered to name. What he meant was human noise. Arguments. Complaints. Questions. Opinions. He considered these the four great enemies of civilization. That was why, on the day he founded the Meh Republic, Tom stood at the gate with a hammer in one hand and a freshly painted sign in the other. He looked at the empty road. Then at the seven robots standing behind him. Then at the sign. THE MEH REPUBLIC NO HUMANS ALLOWED FOUNDED BY MR. TOM FOR PROTECTION AGAINST HEARTBREAK AND HEART ATTACKS Tom nodded. "Perfect." One of the robots tilted its head. Tom pointed at it. "You understand?" The robot remained silent. "Good." For the first time in many years, Tom felt completely certain that he had made the right decision. He had no idea that, somewhere beyond the mountains, a small orange cat was about to change everything. He certainly had no idea that the Republic would one day have a new constitution. Or a new flag. Or a new Supreme Leader. Or that Tom himself would eventually become the last human president in a country whose population consisted mostly of machines and cats. At the time, however, he had only one concern. Peace. Silence. And absolutely no humans. It was, as it turned out, a terrible plan.
