I spit and she tilts her head to the side without removing those eyes that challenge me, that tell me without the need for words that no matter what I say, she has me in the palm of her hand. ... Being part of two worlds is not as complicated as it seems. Suddenly, lying becomes like second nature and you begin to fracture into two versions of yourself that you don't even understand.
