The few who suck up to Master M and become her favorites become the commanders in her army and work to train the rest. Those who don't get on Master M's good side end up fighting to survive, and trying to escape. Qwin is one of these children, trying to fight Master M's evil tyranny. One day she makes it to the barracks and hides under the bed of Commander Benedict, the only commander who doesn't believe in Master M's plans. He reveals to Qwin the reasons that they are all being trained and used. Master M is creating an army to take back the planet from the alien oppressors that brutally stole it. But as Qwin, Benedict, Molo, Trim, his gang and some unlikely friends struggle to stop Master M a century old plot unfolds itself pulling them into a game of intrigue, mystery, and horror that they must unravel before they can escape.
