It is based of the characters of Lord of the flies, by William Golding, it is a modern AU set in 2026 where the island never happens, they boys have been aged up for purposes of adult content (drugs & alcohol plus mild kissing, nothing too serious because one there original characters are 12-13 and two it would be weird). In this version they are 16, it is a VERY slow burn between Roger, Simon and Jack. Yes Roger has somehow pulled them both, Simon is made tutor him, and Jack is his friends after a-few years of friendship building. There will also be Maurisam side plot, AND jalph, trust it's epic. Anyways Roger s a psychopath in the orignal book but I'm not the best at portraying love considering psychopaths physically can't feel neurotypical love but I'll try to genuinely show that. The background of some of them, Roger is a drug dealer (hasn't been mentioned much but he sells to rich kids at his all boys private school), Jack is popular in the sense of he has many friends but mainly because they are scared of Roger, his right hand man or friends with Maurice, Maurice is caught in jack and Roger's complex feelings for each other and fallout with them (🥲), Sam and Eric befriend him. Simon is isolated and has an abusive dad and an alcoholic mother who turned to drinking because of his dad. Ralph and piggy come later in the fic and don't show up much till jalph side plot. Anyways they do a lot of cool stuff and hopefully I portray their characters well in a setting that is different from the story. I've never used Watt-pad before and might mess up so if so i apologise anyways hopefully you like it there is a little bit of everything for everyone here!
