The Galaxy thought Ronan was gone, but the mad Titan does not accept failure. Using the terrifying power of the infinity stones, Thanos pulls Ronan the Accuser and Korath the Pursuer back from the grave with one absolute directive: eliminate the Guardians of the Galaxy. To hunt them down, the Kree form a deadly alliance with the vengeful Ravager Taserface, who is completely obsessed with getting revenge on Peter Quill. After Taserface launches a brutal mutiny aboard the Eclector and leaves Star-Lord severely wounded, the quadrant is pushed to the brink of absolute war. With their ship destroyed, the fractured Guardians must quickly reunite alongside a battered Yondu and a fiercely loyal Kraglin. Backed by Nova Prime and the fleet of Xandar, the Guardians of the Galaxy must stand together to stop a resurrected Ronan, Korath and Taserface's crew before the universe faces total annihilation.
