As Peter and Gwen team up to investigate the corporate paper trail, Peter discovers Oscorp CEO Norman Osborn is testing an unstable performance-enhancing serum to save a failing military contract. The serum drives Osborn into madness, giving birth to The Green Goblin-a masked terrorist using advanced Oscorp gliders and explosives to eliminate anyone threatening his empire. When Osborn realizes Gwen's police captain father is closing in on the truth, he targets the people closest to the investigation.
