During her unexpected visit to Sri Lanka, Amyrah S. Gilman, a nineteen-year-old American girl with American-Sri Lankan heritage, finds her 'missing piece' in life with the help of two 'poles apart' personalities, who teach her to see life from different perspectives. Along the journey, while having a reputation for bad temper, unruly wit, and an uncontrollable flow of words, Amyrah tries to win the heart of her 'true love', who sees her as an untamable 'shrew' and nothing else.
