Spoken word poetry is poetry that has to be said aloud to make sense... Although I prefer to say it's colloquial poetry that's easy for the reader to understand... They don't have to unjangle chains of metaphors or heaps of similes... It's just the writer, speaking to the reader, and explaining their story...

Original. I am warning people now, I am not good at this in the slightest. And to be honest, I don't think anyone will actually see, let alone read, these. I know they are no good, but these are just something I write now and again (like once in a blue moon). Also pretty much none of these are finished...I tend to start them but never finish as I lose the flow...
