Life on sodor was normal, despite the engines and vehicles having faces or life to them. But a species known as "trollges" come to the island, everything is about to change as one particular trollge decides to do some "trolling" which puts chaos on earth for the island of sodor. As the chaos ensues, it's everyone for themselves.

A New Power station is Built on the little western between Arlesburgh and Norramby to generate more power for the Island but some strange chemicals are being used for it. But one day the power station suffered a system failure and it caused the chemicals to leak out of the power station and spread all over Sodor infecting engines and people. Will the engines be able to survive and escape or will they become infected creatures, find out in this adventure we go on into the year 1988.
