This story starts off with a girl named Claire and her sister Gracie getting on the bus ready to leave for school. Then all of the sudden they see this mysterious "portal" and they are dying to find out what it does and why it is in our world! Just then when they get off the bus something horrible happens to Gracie. Claire is so mad, and sad that she just lost the person closest to her and needs to find a way to save her. She meets up with her best-friend and that's when the adventure begins.

The bloons and monkeys have raged an endless war for centuries. The monkeys are training endlessly but they still don't seem to be strong enough to stop the bloons. Especially since the bloons are getting stronger. But there's still hope. With the legend of upgrading, the monkeys believe that by training as hard as possible, they'll upgrade and become more powerful. The king doesn't believe it, though. He ensures that the monkeys train normally. But throughout all the types, they're hopeful. The bloons are getting stronger and the monkeys need to hurry if they want to beat them. And the bloons are going all out, to the point of creating stronger bloons at the expense of others. And these ones will take all the monkeys' power to destroy. <==={[
