When Maddy arrives in The Glade she's terrified. Automatically she's drawn towards the limping blonde haired boy they call Newt. She doesn't know why but when Maddy is around him, she feels safe. Maddy understands that they need to get out of the maze and wants to help her friends in any way to achieve that.
