Castiel James Novak is a good man. Not because he was a priest and told people about the word of God and also because he lived by the Bible. He was a good man because he just was. He was kind, he was generous, he held his heart in his hands and he never turned anybody away. All Castiel wanted that night was for God to talk to him, just once. He had prayed and prayed so many times before but there was no reply. He had read in a book somewhere about certain sigils and markings and a few words would summon God or the Holy Ghost to him and Castiel had run out of ideas. So one night, that was exactly what he did. Castiel James Novak didn't know that the markings he had put down and the incantations he had spoken did not in fact summon the Holy Ghost, except they brought down upon him his worst nightmare. ~* Revised *~ The main themes of the old story are present, but be warned there has been a lot added so I recommend going back through and reading. When an angel named Castiel finds himself running from a demon in a hopeless frenzy, a hunter named Dean Winchester swoops in and saves him. Little does he know that the hellhound was the least of his problems. Dean Winchester has been on his own for years, ever since his dad abandoned him and his brother was kidnapped by the devil. He would have never thought he'd come across an angel in his hunting for Lucifer, hell, he didn't even know they were real. Now he must choose between the captivating beauty of his broken angel, Castiel, or succumb to the dangerously alluring Darkness that his brother had given into years before. A fight between Darkness and Light, and Dean Winchester is stuck right in the middle of it. ~ LOOSELY based off of the TV show Supernatural. This is my universe based on my imagination. Do not criticize me for not sticking to canon. Sometimes canon isn't any fun.

Dean Winchester is nineteen years old and only a year out of high school when he gets sent to the hospital after a argument with his father. Nothing serious occurred, but Dean was required to spend the next few days under observation. While he is spending his time in the hospital of utter boredom, he meets Castiel, a young man the same age as him as a patient of cancer. Forming a quick bond, he begins visiting the boy even when he gets out, but is something more going on?

The angels have fallen. Castiel lost his grace, and is now a human. He experiences hunger, cold, need, but still pondered at the thought of love. Dean takes him under his wing and helps him understand his new way of life; every aspect. Even though his grace is lost, the affair between a man and an angel is forbidden. Not to mention, an angel and a Winchester. In addition to the internal conflicts between the two, they also have to worry about the bounty put on Castiel's head by the other fallen angels.

Dean has been dragging Sam to the same old Cafe after school for a month. Novaks Cafe. Dean claimed it was because of the pie but secretly it was the Blue eyed waiter that caught his eye. Sam was getting tired of being dragged there after school every day but a candy addicted man child might change his mind. Ooh a coffee shop au, how original. But trust me, this ones pretty good.

After both families need a fresh start, the Novaks and the Winchesters become neighbours. Dean and Castiel, however, refuse to talk to anybody but something brings them both out of their shells.

Castiel is an Angel of the lord but when his brother Gabriel is called away on a mission of heaven, Castiel is forced to be normal. This involves going to school where he meets the dashing Dean Winchester.
