"Photography is all about secrets. The secrets we all have and will never tell." -Kim Edwards Eleanor Morisette doesn't speak. She doesn't have an illness that causes it, and wasn't born mute; she just chooses not to talk. What reason is there to say words when no one's there to hear them? Instead, she expresses herself through the art of photography. Obsessed with the beauty in the world that overshadows her own problems, all she wants is to someday capture life to its fullest; without having to worry about her parents' declining love and the loneliness of being an outcast at school. But what happens when she accidentally takes a photo of a boy who she can't take her mind off? Will he be the one to open up her shell? Or will she continue wandering lost in her world of lonely magic?

The Teen Years - filled with those long, dwindling days till adulthood. Too much pressure, a lot of insecurity, and quite a bit of soul-searching. Thinking there's not an accurate enough representation of teenagedom in fiction, it's only fit that Jenna Lachs writes about such when given the task to create a short story for her Beginners English Class. Filled with memoirs about herself, her hippie foster-parents Hannah and Clide, and her pitiful first attempt at a New Start, Jenna's holding nothing back.

OLD VERSION Self-proclaimed pathetic being Sam Anderson is shocked when her ex-almost-boyfriend, Austin, comes up to her and asks her to drive him all the way across the country to California just so he can see his girlfriend. Thinking she was only getting into a quick, scenic car ride across America, she finds herself saying yes, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. In fact, Sam had no idea she was signing up for two weeks of getting lost, eating crap, and falling in love all over again. [ current cover by isasecret ] THIS THING IS OLD. OKAY? THERE ARE PLOT HOLES AND PIECES OF BAD WRITING GALORE. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK. I DON'T NEED SNARKY COMMENTS GOT IT? COOL
