Though all is not regained, for a tragic accident threatens Krista's ability to keep the horse, Kiro, close to her. More trouble waits on the fringes of what looks like happiness. What will happen to the horses? The farm? Only the love and passion of those who care for the horses can save everything.

Victoria Paddington aka Tori is a sarcastic,funny,animal lover,straight As,decent-looking,smart(I think so),nature-loving,global warming protestor type of person. Oh,and love and her do not get along. At all. The only love she feels is for animals and family. That's it. And when she attends Mayford College, she signs up for horse riding, and it just so happens that her "chosen" horse is the one out of the two matchmaker horses. Said to have never failed to match their riders together, Tori is ready to prove them wrong.
