Once the ceremony began, I focused on the stage. That is when I found the source of the intoxicating scent. Standing on the stage, in all his glory, was the son of the alpha. We locked eyes, his catching a gleam in them, his eyes briefly changed colour to that of his wolfs, but he quickly gained control. Blinking rapidly, I averted my eyes, to my brother, and that's when I realised. My mate is the alpha!

“What is your problem?! LEAVE ME ALONE!” I screeched. I was tired of this and couldn't hold it in. He’s been doing this for a whole year. A WHOLE YEAR. It was the last day and I had nothing to lose from this sudden outburst anyway. I was ecstatic that it was almost summer vacation. I’m going to go to my aunt’s place in Philadelphia and live there for the rest of the summer – AWAY from Dylan and his friends here in Massachusetts. “Never, baby. Wherever you are, I’ll be there.” He sent me one last smirk and left the cafeteria, filing out along with the rest of the students. ♣ “I’ll miss you, sweetie.” “I’ll miss you too, mom. See you in September.” And with that, I closed my suitcase for the last time in Massachusetts and prepared for a peaceful, serene summer in Philadelphia. ♣ “Dylan?!” I shrieked as my glasses drooped down the bridge of my nose. “Abby…?” He sounded unsure as he studied my face and features a bit more. “What are you doing here?” “I should be asking you that,” I stated bluntly while readjusting my glasses. “Oh you silly kids. We already told you. We’re living together!” Elaine announced again. I almost barfed.

Trinity has never hurt a soul in her entire life, however life hasn't always been good to her. When a stray bullet blasts threw her temple, Trinity isn't really stunned. So what will happen when Ms. Rodgers insists that to jog with the girls, they need to learn some manners, so Coach McDonald suggests that they partner dance? What happens when Ms. Rodgers agrees, sets up the partners, and assigns them a specific dance that they will have to perform at the end of the summer? Will Aubrey, the goodiest of the goodies, and Landon, the biggest jerk and flirt of the football players, be able to dance together or will they decide to keep their distance? I'm fixing all of it.** A shiver raced down my spine and the air thickened. The other end of the alleyway wasn't far, but it didn't seem to be coming closer no matter how fast I walked. Humoring my paranoia, I glanced over my shoulder just in time to catch a fist to the face. I dropped to my hands and knees and stared at the ground in a daze. My jaw throbbed with each beat of my heart, hammering the side of my face. Strong hands gripped me and dragged me backward. We made considerable progress toward the other end of the alleyway before my dazed mind caught up with reality. I was being kidnapped.
