Clove and Cato were best friends since they started training but as they grew older and with the death of Clove's mom they've drifted apart, none has said a word to each other until now. Clove wants to believe that they can be friends again, maybe more, but with a sudden turn of events Clove is forced to do what she never imagined. She has to compete against Cato in the Hunger Games. Can she figure out her ever changing emotions in time to win or is her story destined to be just another bloody death in the Games?
