Shard is one of the worst demons imaginable. What would you do if all the choices you made were right, but in reality the people around you made them wrong. Hannah Foundateur has lived through that for her entire life. She lives in a town where the people around her would much rather make decisions for her then let her choose, but what happens when you defy the system for the people you love? Normally there are a few people who get away with with such a thing, but for Hannah it's not quite the same circumstances. Hannah lives in a town inhabited and ran by vampires. A town where mere humans are the cattle, herded in a pen and never allowed to leave, while the vampires are farmers who hold the decision of life or death over them and Hannah is sick of it all. She's ready to defy the system, risking her own life to save the people she loves, but her time is starting to run out. Her mother, the town founder has different intentions for her daughter and if Hannah doesn't find a way to end it all she may just become the monster she's always feared, the monster locked away within herself.

When I was thirteen I was wondering around the forest and was found by Rosalie or as I call her, Mom. She adopted me along with my dad Emmett.
