Tate, Laken, Raelynn, Rylee, North and Ever are not your average American teenagers. They've all been institutionalized into The Sunny Shelter for Troubled Youth. Tate and Raelynn are determined to escape. Laken wants to get revenge on Tate for stealing "his girlfriend". Ever just wants the voices to stop and for North to notice her. North wants to get over his phobias and be left alone.
