October 25, 2017. Riley Matthews and her family are going on a trip to California. They get on the plane along with everyone else. But they don't make it that far. A unwanted person takes control and crashes the plane. Riley is the only survivor out of her whole family. One of her dads friends takes her in to protect her and to give her a home. He has a son named Lucas. Lucas is kind to her but a bully to other people. He goes everywhere with her to protect her. But they don't fall in love that quick. It takes some time.

Riley and lucas have been going out. Maya has been acting wierd around lucas and has feelings for him. How will riley found out? How will she react?
