Summary: Perseus Jackson was betrayed by the people he called his family. Cheated by his girlfriend, Annabeth Chase, dis-owned by his father, forgotten and hated by his friend/family, and replace by his half-brother, Austin Reed, he left the place he called home. His mother died at the age of 6, he had no one. Until a person, powerful, older than the Olympians combine, helped Percy get back on his feet, a whole new fresh start, and hope. He left New York, and went to live with his Aunt Mellisa, and cousin Scott ( related by Sally ) who he hasn't seen since the death of his mother, to Beacon Hills, California. Living like a normal teen, life couldn't get any better. But the fates have other plans for him. Percy will soon figure out the secrets of Beacon Hills, and will soon go back to his old life, sooner than he thought. Just a COMPLETED short story. Rick Riordan owns all rights to PJO/HOO, the plot line is mine and yeah, that about covers it. Percy is basically betrayed, but that's not what this completely focuses on. It's brought up and is a reason for the cause of events, but what unfolds is merely the plot.
