Steggy One-Shot

Margaret 'Peggy' Carter grows up not really understanding what her soulmark is, and feels like she's never allowed to do what she wants. ***I've made some minor changes/updates/revisions to the current chapters.***

For the coffee shop AU challenge. This isn't my first Steggy fic, but it's my first AU, so if you're just reading, be nice!

Agent Carter was killed by the police on accident they were trying to kill the masked figure but she was holding agent Carter and agent Carter stopped the bullet with her body. They all mourned for their fallen colleuge. Her body wasn't found. They all prepared to take revenge. Will they do it? There's a big change in events. Alexis Jane Morgan is an intelligent 18 year old girl who by some miracle manages to score herself a job with the one and only Howard Stark. She wants to help her country in the war, the war that took her father's life. She wants to design and build weapons that can help defend the brave soldiers and the men who fought by her father's side until his death. But when the war ends and Captain America is lost, Howard begins to try and recreate the serum that changed Steve Roger's life forever, but when Howard leaves Alexis to find the missing Captain America he entrusts her with continuing his work. One clumsy accident later and Alexis wakes up in hospital a month after, but she isn't the same.

What if the story of Captain America had a different ending? What if he's found a few weeks after the plane crash by an angel who was sent to help them? How will the life of him and Peggy Carter be? Will they have a happy ending? What could stand in their way? (All rights reserved)
