“Love’s like a bullet. It’s fast. It’s furious. Sometimes you can’t see it coming. You can run from it. But you can’t dodge it. Unless someone stands in your way…” Growing up, Callie Tollson had always admired her older brother, Clay, for being exactly who he wanted to be…despite the consequences he faced doing so. With their roles reversed, Callie had always been the one to stand up for Clay when he was in harm’s way. She always thought this was enough. She thought she was able to protect him. That is until he turned the tables and unleashed harm back on those who had done it to him. She couldn’t understand why, being the one who stood up for him the most, she was the one he picked as the receiver for the final bullet in his gun. Now she’s the most feared girl in school with a haunting family tie to keep her stuck in the halls of Riverton High. As she tries to survive the rest of her junior year as the sister of the boy who brought a gun to school, she soon realizes she owes nothing to the boy who turned on her and everything to the boy who saved her life.

**NOW PUBLISHED IN EBOOK! This is a companion novella (not a sequel) to my book The Kissing Booth, but if you don't mind some spoilers, feel free to read on regardless!** It's summer, and for Elle and her best friend Lee, that means one thing: The beach house. They've spent every summer of their lives there, but things are different this year. For one thing, Elle is dating Lee's older brother Noah, who's also going to be there with them. Summer at the beach house has never been more fun - and never has it been more upside-down and inside-out. From kissing to sunbathing to volleyball, summer this year is going to be one hell of a ride.

Emily Winters has been the 'other child' for twenty years of her life. Her brother is the Alpha of the largest pack in North America, her sister's mate -John- is the Beta, and her? She's just... There. Her parents died when she was young, most of her friends went off to college (unless you count the irritating pest, Lee, from a neighbouring pack), and it seems that everyone around her is finding their mate. Including -unfortunately- her. Story of her life. After making a secretive move in order to protect her brother's mate, she settles into an alliance with said neighboring pack; Alpha Blake's Snow Pack. Blake has a Beta that is quiet, calm, secretive, and ready and willing to settle down with his mate; when or if he finds her. Problem is, he knew he had found her years before she was willing to acknowledge it. And now, he's always hanging around. Emily doesn't have much to hold to her name, but what she has, she doesn't let go of. Doesn't having a mate threaten that perfect, 'I can do everything myself' lifestyle? What if he tries to get her to show her who she really is? Would that really be bad? Yes. Yes it would.

"You and I both know that any girl would kill to be in your position, with me, right now." He smirks, knowing that what he's said is completely and utterly true. "Rule number one," He whispers, pulling back to look me right in the eye, "Never let your guard down." He flashes me a cunning smirk as I stare at him, stunned at what he had just done. Only, he makes a mistake of turning to see what everyone else ahead of the bleachers is doing. I smirk and take a step back forcefully. Just as he turns his head back to face me, I swing my arm at his face. "No. That's rule two," I snap, "Rule one is never turn your back to your opponent." Faye Williams is not the type of girl who would call for the attention. However, she calls things as she sees them. Faye's not afraid to use her fist, for that's all she's ever known. Some call her a good girl while others call her a rebel. What most people don't know is that she's witnessed things that not many people get to witness. With an unstable mother who blames her for a needed divorce, she's seen, heard, and knows plenty. It's not until she moves to Miami, Florida with her dad, that trouble arises. Let's just say that the odds are not in her favor, especially when it comes to that notorious 'bad kid' Travis. Yet, for some reason, she feels that fixing the bad boy will mend herself. When a powerful gang leader, a notorious bad boy, vengeful mother, and two faced acquaintances enter the equation, Faye knows there's nothing to save her now. *Copyright © 2013* All rights reserved.
