When they finally find him just before they can attack him, orochimaru pulls out a vial of some purple liquid and pours the content of the vial all over the akatsuki. Orochimaru then laughs and disappears along with kobuto and when the akatsuki tries to run after them they literally fall into a portal. When they wake up and look around they yelp when they see what the potion had done to them. The akatsuki the most feared group of S-ranked criminal in the ninja world are now fluffy, adorable wolf puppies. They look around and see that they are in a box, they start to scratch on the sides of the box in a desperate attempt to get out. After seeing that they couldn't escape Pein told everyone to be quiet. Just then the lid of the box was opened to reveal a girl that looked about 18. The girl then says her name is Hikari (which means 'light' in Japanese). After seeing the poor little puppies all alone Hikari decides to keep them.
