Chapter One: Spirit of Life Before the swirling gap of nothingness, there formed a change in energy. A split divided the void into two halves, the light and the dark. Light came into being at the same rate as Dark. Neither came before the other. Sudden changes of energy caused a great vibration to emit from the core of both the light and the dark.     Thus, sound was made, and the sound became ever abundant within the cores of the light and the dark. The sounds of light were the sounds of a heart beat. Dark emitted a sound that could not be heard by the light, and that was the sound of fear. Though the light could not hear the darkness, the darkness could hear the light. At the first few beats of the heart of light, the darkness turned and tried to overcome the light with its fear. My name is Roy, but people call me Toy as a long lasting joke. My world is one of chaotic wars and lands of danger. Only the strong and brave travel out at night. Only the wise and magical can survive. I am strong. I am brave. I am wise. I am magical... It was spring time. The flowers were in bloom and the farmers happy for their crops. My village sits in a valley of greenery. Cliffs and mountains surrounding us, seem to protect us from many of the outside dangers. Only this year was different. The Mighty, Holy Kingdom of Serpah had finally taken control over their enemy kingdoms. The King wasn't satisfied, he ordered for his army to expand to the far reaches of his new area of control. In result, many of the enemies became enraged and fearful. One of these enemies of Serpah used his dark magic to awaken the Ancient Dragonoids of Blood, now known as the Egkt Kindred. This treacherous act made way for a rumor of war.
