Moving from Louisiana to Montana has been a long and painful journey for Ashley Meyer. Can life get much worse? Saying goodbye to Lafayette and all her childhood friends had been difficult enough, what more could life throw at her? After taking a walk in the woods alone to take pictures of random things, she follows her heart and the wolves. She finds herself, a mate, and friends among them. He's coming. I hear him through the corn. Searching. I don't even dare to breathe let alone move. His grunting drifts farther away until I can't hear it anymore. I'm safe...for now. Dawn is coming. I here birds in the trees somewhere not far away from here. Dawn is coming ending night as it always does, drying my tears and helps me move on.
