April Vargas has been judged, not taken sriously and miss diagnosed from a young age. She would always complain from a young age that she was hearing things until one day her mom had enough with all the scrutiny and decided to take her to a psychologist, to find that she gets diagnosed with "schizophrenia". After her finding this out her mom starts to ignore her complaints of the new step father that has just moved in.
