I looked up at the star filled night sky as the tears I had been holding back poured out of my eyes uncontrollably. My life changed in an blink of an eye so to say. Our marriage was a deal, nothing but a contract or a piece of paper as he called it. But the way he treated me and acted with me in the very few times we were forced to be together, had proved that he knew something that I didn't. Sometimes I just give up and let myself believe that it's nothing but the fact that he genuinely hates me. As I was just settling down as a newly wed, my life took a turn again. For the better or worst, I have yet to find out myself.
