{For a Song:} 1. very cheaply. After her short life ended, there wasn't much for seventeen year old Hilly’s sister,Izzy, to leave behind. Two years on, Hilly's family is drifting and it's getting harder and harder to stay connected to her memory. Until Izzy’s song comes on the radio. Sung by Hilly's favorite band, The Scale. Despite not being finished, despite Izzy taking it to her grave. You could call it fate, you could call it a sign of the infinite connecting threads of the universe but Hilly does not. Hilly calls it plagiarism. Even if the band claims to know nothing about Izzy. With reluctant help from the lawyer who broke up her parent's marriage and a new nemesis in the form of infuriatingly attractive front man Dylan Dorian, Hilly sets out to reclaim her sister's legacy. Not expecting to discover how little she actually knew about her sister and the story behind her songs. And she sure as hell doesn't expect to find a love song of her own.

He flees to get away from life for a while, escaping to a quaint coastal town in the Western Cape of South Africa that embodies 'the middle of nowhere'. His plan is to get time alone and decide what is true to him and what is not, but he soon finds himself curious about the town and all it has to offer. In particular, a peculiar but down to earth girl by the name of Avalene Swan. And perhaps she is exactly what he needs, or perhaps not. short story/fanfiction all rights reserved to @derailedthoughts

To move on from her past, an extraordinary girl must tear down the walls she has built to protect herself. Mackenzie Douglas seems to have it all: good looks, a great boyfriend, a passion for biking, and a little sister who worships her. But under the veneer of perfection lie the emotional scars of her childhood, inflicted by her father. Though her memories have faded with time, the wounds on Mac’s subconscious remain. Having vowed to never be a victim again, Mac focuses on a journey she’s always wanted to take: a summer bike trip on her amazing new RoadCap bike. But as the excursion finally gets underway, memories Mac long ago buried start to claw their way back to the surface, forcing her to confront a past she has done everything she can to forget. To prevent her sister from enduring the same trauma, Mac must let go of everything in which she’s found refuge. To break a cycle that needs to be broken, Mackenzie summons her strength and risks shattering the world she has so carefully built, exposing hidden secrets, long-told lies, and a horrific crime. Hello, Readers! It took me nine years (seriously!) to finish this YA, Dancing With the Devil, and Diversion Books has published it both digitally and in paperback versions. But guess what? I'm also putting it up here on Wattpad, free. Serialized, so it might make you crazy, but still, cool, right? And the whole thing will be here. I'm serializing twice a week every Sunday and Wednesday and the completed story will be one of the Wattpad Featured Stories starting on June 6th. You'll just have to wait to read the whole thing. After it's all up, I get to answer questions in a LIVE Q&A book club! Talking to readers will be a dream come true. After admittedly the world's crappiest suicide attempt, eighteen year old Charlie Hogan cannot be trusted to be home alone and is shipped across the country to stay with an absentee, dead beat dad in Florida. And thus begins a summer of transformation; of beaches and swampland, retirement homes and the Electro Complex; an anarchic, anachronistic, apocalyptic world filled up with violence and hedonism, home to the best friends Charlie will ever find. And then there's this mixed up boy- the kind who shoots lightning bolts up your spine, right into your skull- who's about to screw with Charlie's whole world. Forget everything you know about boy meets girl, Electro is a hot wet soup of gender identity, Dr Freud, Dr seuss, interminable sexual obsession and prosthetic penises...[hs au]

Sick of cliché Wattpad books? Then this isn't the book for you. We take every single over-used plot, character and trope on Wattpad - from player-meets-nerd to my-boyfriend-is-a-vampire - and mash it all into one, awful, hilarious parody. NOTE: This is a parody. Characters have not been created to mock a race/nationality/sexuality, they have been created to lightly poke fun at the way certain teen fiction writers reduce them into crude stereotypes. Thanks for helping this pile of junk get to #1 in Humor!

Hadley Jamison doesn't know what to think when she hears that her classmate, Archer Morales, committed suicide. She didn't exactly know him, but that doesn't stop her from feeling like there was something she could have done to help him. So to Hadley's surprise, on the very night of Archer's funeral, she has a run in with Death himself and is offered the chance to go back in time to stop Archer from ending his life. The catch? She only has twenty-seven days to do it. And if Hadley doesn't succeed? Well, she doesn't want to think about that.
