After Christine not showing up to the wedding, him almost losing her and staying at a hotel together, he quickly fell for this girl, Marie. But, her father, hates Erik. So much, that he will do anything to keep her away from him. Anything. On top of that, Marie's ex-boyfriend comes along after Marie and Erik are together and will do anything to get Marie back, and to keep her away from this "murderer".
