My screenplay for how I want the Looking movie to start...and eventually I suppose, end. Warning...won't make much sense if you haven't watched the show! Went to my dark place, where all my fears and anxieties about Team Kevin fester, and wrote this, just to see if I will eventually be able find a way out.

After their horrible fight the night before and the morning after, Patrick decides to spend some time away from Kevin. Patrick goes back to Colorado for some "soul searching", to examine his views in life in general, and what he truly wants in particular. He is swept up in a whirlwind of emotions as he confronts his inner demons: his insecurities, his doubts, and his fear of falling deep in love. Fortunately though, an unexpected visitor helps him find his way back to what truly matters to him. This story picks up from Looking Season 2 Episode 10, and told through Patrick Murray's perspective.

Coming to a new school Patrick faces many different situations. Somehow falling for a boy makes it all easier and harder at the same time.

What happened after the night they fought? Will Patrick forgive Kevin? Or will he leave him? Find out in What's Next? to know their ending whether it is a happy one or not.

Kevin seemed so in love with Patrick. So what made him screw it up so royally on the very day that they moved in together? This is my attempt at making sense of why the conversation happened in the first place.

HBO Looking has created characters that are complicated, messy and intriguing and this is my interpretation of the inner life of Kevin Matheson. A familiarity with the show would definitely help!

HBO Looking has provided me with countless hours of entertainment and inspiration - I feel I understood Kevin, after all who could help falling in love with Patrick, but now I need to get into Patrick's head and see if I can understand the future he was building in his head... A familiarity with the show helps!
