Never to touch, only to see. Never to speak, only to think. After a year and a day of being forced apart by someone both Time Lords once considered a friend, the Doctor and the Alchemist both have their ways of coping. But with the death of the Master, the Alchemist's last secret is the wild card in their relationship. She still has control of the Vortex, and has ever since the day the Doctor died for her. No Creator has ever been meant to hold the Vortex for so long, and the Alchemist's actions come with a price. Having control and staying in control are two different things. With planets disappearing left and right and with the reappearance of Donna Noble, nothing is impossible. The Alchemist kept the Doctor together after the loss of Rose and Mickey. Now it's the Doctor's turn to support his Bonded as she deals with the toughest battle she's ever fought. And with the Alchemist's control of the Vortex the deciding factor on her life, the Bond between the Doctor and the Alchemist has never been more in danger. Fourth in The Creators Saga. *** I do not own Doctor Who. The Alchemist and the concept of the Creators, however, belong to me. The cover was also made by _marvelous.

The Alchemist has saved Rose from the fate of the Bad Wolf, but the Doctor gave up his life to save her in return. But the legend of the Creators lingers on their minds. Is the threat of the Vortex completely gone now that the Alchemist has accepted all that she can do? How far can she survive after that much exposure, even with the Doctor's regeneration to save her? What does the Beast have to say about the last of Gallifrey's finest warriors? She always dreamed of being one of the Creators, one of the elite of the elite, one of the Time Lords who invented. She got her wish. But being a Creator is a dangerous task. Her first creation was powerful enough that the Time Lords deemed her dangerous, and kept a close eye on her ever since. Her first creation was the Moment. The same weapon used to destroy Gallifrey during the Time War. The Alchemist barely escapes with her life, but being transported along with a Dalek to a museum where alien artifacts are scavenged is not the best way to live fifty years of her life. Then came the Doctor. Then came her rescue. Then came her hatred for the man who destroyed her home. And then came the fight of fire against fire. Someone's going to be burned. But who? First in The Creators Saga. *** I don't own Doctor Who. That is owned by BBC America. The Alchemist, however, and the concept of the Creators are my own. After seeing Amy and Rory be sent to their deaths and seeing River and Clara Oswin Oswald die in front of her, Jessie has truly fallen, becoming the soldier her current incarnation was meant to be and has shown no signs of getting better. Even the Avengers have started to wonder if Jessie will ever recover. But there is still one promise that they know nothing about that may be her saving grace. Oswin Oswald died in the Dalek Asylum.
