Gemma was five when she was kidnapped. Her nanny was just a few feet away picking up Renzo's favorite salad dressing. Gemma was grabbed from behind out of the cart. When she screamed nothing came out. Her world turned black. She was kidnapped for 10 years. Her memories of her family back home were slowly fading. She could remember faces of some but eyes of others. She couldn't remember if they were brothers, cousins, best friends. She just knew these eyes were important. The faces she remembered were just as important. The beating, the abuse, and the torture couldn't erase them out of her memory. They were forever etched in her brain. What happens when her abductors and her are moving back to her homeland? Her town? What happens when she runs into...? Literally 5 of her brothers on the first day of school? Will she remember who they exactly are? Will she ask them for help? Will she survive another beating? See if she can reunite with her family that has missed her for all those years.

"Baba why don't du like wain?" I look at Beatrice her tiny hand in mine as we stand on the porch. The sound of the thunder in the distance and the gentle rain drops remind me of the dark days. The way my father would beat me, all the times I would stare outside my window watching the rain drops slide down the window pane, hoping the rain will stop so I can run from that horrid place, the way I would promise I would be better for my boys, for my wife, for my mafia, for me. So I ignore it, I pretend that everytime it rains, I'm fine and it's just another day but the truth is. I never got better, not really. Sure I'm happy but not healed. "Why do you want to know honeybee?" I ask trying to ignore the throbbing pain in my chest. "Cause you wook sad, I won't want du to be sad." I pick her up putting her on my side as she holds out the palm of her hand. Gentle rain drops falling. "Cause my dearest honeybee. Rain is sad and gloomy. No one likes rain." She looks at me her eyebrows furrowed. "But wain is nice." Why does this young girl like rain so much? Most kids are sad and whiney when it rains. Complaining about how they can't play outside but she loves rain, loves to play in it, loves to talk about it. What is her deal? "Well why do you like rain?" She looks at me a bright smile on her lips. "I wike the wain. Cause when it wains you tan look for rainbows and it's even better when it's dark tause du can look for stars." I watch as the golden sun peaks out from behind the dark grey storm clouds, bright golden rays shinning on her face. Small giggles coming from her. "And da prettiest tings are found in da dark." ~~~ (AN:) This is based in a Mafia run soceity. The levels of government are: World Leaders. Mafia. Higher class jobs. (Such as Doctors, Lawyers, Police force, etc) Then everyone else, the commners. Just a little note so you aren't completly lost.

After being involved with a cold-hearted mafia boss, Robyn Lehman decides its time to run. Little did she know, she was carrying the future heir to his entire empire. Will he find her again? Or will she stay hidden forever? =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= He got up from the bed, pulling up his pants and not taking a glance at me. I lay in the sheets, still dazed by what we had just done. "Get up." He barks, making me jump a bit. I was confused beyond belief. Just moments ago he was making love to me... I did as he said, wrapping the loose sheet around my body, he continued to glare as I did so, and I made my way to his side of the bed. He held out a hand, an angry look on his face. "Don't. Just go. This was a mistake, and it won't happen again." He mutters coldly. I feel my face heating up and my eyes welling with tears. "Oh.." I stare at him, my emotions beginning to be hard to keep in. He laughs, shaking his head. "You thought I cared?" He let out a loud chuckle. "You mean nothing to me. Now go to your room, I don't want to see you in here again."
