"I knew I’d have to eliminate someone in my life from the moment my yellow lab trapped my boyfriend in the shower. No, seriously. He told me straight-up to choose between him and the 'ill-behaved' dog, and I can’t say I regret my decision. At least my dog doesn’t brag about how many people he’s slept with." Wren Mantini would probably be the last person to trust with your kids. She’s inexperienced, fond of using expletives, and may or may not banish them outdoors to find their own source of entertainment. But, when you stick a leash in her hand and give her a canine companion, there’s no one better to get the job done. Wren has been running her own dog walking business since she was fourteen, and with three years under her belt, she knows what she’s doing. Being a dog walker has taught her important skills, like how to effectively prevent an energetic dog from tipping over a man practicing an intense yoga position, as well as different life lessons, such as the fact that even dogs understand the term “no” better than some boys. But, what happens when Wren meets her match with a new dog? And its owner? He’s quite headstrong, often unpredictable, and willing to do everything he can to make Wren’s job as difficult as possible. Until, that is, an unlikely friendship sparks between the two of them. ~Cover made by me~
