I have three secrets. 1. I'm in the witness protection program. I witnessed my mother's murder when I was eight years old, and now the murderer is after me. 2. I can read minds. Or not "read" them... not exactly. But I can feel them. Every emotion has a color. An aura, as I call it. And I can feel those auras. I can feel the color of one's thoughts. 3. I can't feel Elijah Whitney's aura. [ COMPLETED - 1.28.16 ] [ LATEST REVISION - 8.17.19 ] [ SEQUEL COMING FALL 2019 ]

A star-faring religious cult has created an army of robotic zealots designed to follow holy scripture. As the robotic menace spreads across the galaxy, it takes prisoners to be 'excommunicated': hooked into a neural simulation of eternal torment. Captain Rolland Barron leads the Sol Federation Starship Excalibur on a diplomatic mission. Cassia LaCroix is a wormhole hunter, earning a living scouring the galaxy for valuable tunnels through space-time. Prince Zoojin, a psychic alien from a distant galaxy, must prove himself worthy of the throne of Paxis Prime. The paths of these characters converge as they pursue their own motives, leading them towards the mechanical legion that is sweeping across the galaxy. COVER BY: rentachi AUTHOR'S NOTE: this is an early draft of the novel. I am very grateful for your readership and your feedback, which I have taken into consideration for a major rewrite. The new novel is completely different. If you liked the book, then please look forward to the release of the finished novel.

In my journal I've written prompt sets from Tumblr user alloftheprompts and each set I'm turning into a full story. #303 is set up like this 1. Back so soon? 2. You're making me nervous. 3. Can you read to me? 4. I'd hate to part with it. 5. I've known the truth for a while. 6. You deserve so much better 7. He didn't make it a question. 8. Don't do this because of me. 9. I've a really attractive Identical Twin. 10. That's beyond your skill level. My challenge is that each individual prompt is a single chapter. Each chapter is to the same story. Using each prompt, I am to make one whole story, blending each prompt into one another seamlessly. I hope you enjoy! P.S. This story does involve an Aromantic character. Please forgive me if anything I put in the story is an inaccurate portrayal of this sexuality in any way! Also, if you don't mind, please let me know! I did some research, but just in case my understanding is less than ideal, I put this here to ask that you let me know what I've put that is incorrect and all that. Thanks!

The Magnetron Chronicles, Volume 1 Phineas Magnetron is an eccentric Nineteenth Century inventor blessed with a strange gift he doesn't completely understand. As a former soldier and current member of the Hogalum Society, an inscrutable secret organization of crime fighting adventurers, Phineas is no stranger to peril and derring-do. But when the Society founder dies, Phineas embarks on a daring and improbable caper to bring the good doctor's greatest dream to fruition posthumously. In the process, he not only horrifies his Society brothers, but unearths a haunting and compelling mystery. About The Magnetron Chronicles: The Magnetron Chronicles is a serialized steampunk tale told in the grandiose style of Jules Verne, but with satirical Twainian wit. Chapter by chapter, the story builds as quirky new characters join the fray and perplexing new mysteries and situations arise. Traveling the globe, Phineas Magnetron and his Hogalum Society encounter suspicious policemen, mentally ill criminals, wood-craving aliens, a witch doctor, a mad oracle, and a cross-dressing female matador, among many others. However, this "steam dream team" always manages to triumph over impossible odds and improbable obstacles as they preserve order in a disorderly world.
