Woodbury was worse than I thought, you see smiles on the civilians faces, but in there eyes there's fear. When I finally escape from Woodbury, if seems I haven't escaped him. I find a new group, new friendships, a new love. Will he ever harm me again?

Lauren Dixon, daughter of Merle Dixon. A young girl trying to survive in a zombie apocalypse realises the threats beyond the city, she soon sees the living are equally as harmful as the dead that surround them. - After surviving what felt like so long by herself, Lauren finds a group reluctant to take her in, this brings her closer to her family, but also closer to a young boy who she used to see as the enemy.

All her life, Rose Agulara was bullied. In 7th grade, she meets Carl Grimes who, like her, was an outcast. They become friends, but one day Carl gets accepted into the 'popular' group and leaves Rose behind. In order to stay in the group, Carl must become a bully. He does something that he will regret for the rest of his life and a week later, the apocalypse hits. Rose runs into the woods and survives on her own for two years. Out on a run, she meets two people who accept her into their group and take her back to a prison. There, she runs into an old 'friend'.
