Hi this is my first story ever Here is the start of the Prologue I could only sit and watch as it took her. Paralysed by fear I watched as it destroyed her, drenching itself in her crimson blood. The tall slender being was pitch black from head to toe with fiery, red glowing eyes, with a glare that could drive anyone insane. It wore a black suit with a red tie and a black hat, the colours contrasting with his body. Its face looked like it was forged in the abyss of hell itself. As it played with its suffering victim a bone white smile appeared on its pure black lips, sending shivers down my spine, but seeing this also filled me with anger. I knew that it was a bad idea at the time but I could not sit here and watch her suffer for any longer.

Short story I wrote as a response/inspired piece in the style of Tim Winton (with a few personal touches) for my Literature subject at school mid-2014. Enjoy!

On the last day of the month, Jasper Cancellum, one of the only cases of Cancelli Disorder still alive, managed to make his decision to cancel his life. Not only cancel his commitments or his activities. He wanted to cancel his entire being. He left suddenly one day, without any note, without any explanation, without any goodbyes, and without any warning. Those who care for him send out frantic search parties, but nobody finds him. As Jasper reaches the destination he managed to decide as his final resting place, far away from anybody that he knows, he bumps into a pretty girl. She possesses another extraordinary curse, and together he'll learn the true value of life and of the hidden wonders that can appear when living life.
