For three years Kasim, Nala, and Zuri had been a throuple. They'd started off as close friends throughout highschool but it wasn't until college when sexual feelings started between the three and that soon turned into romantic feelings. Despite their families views and opinions on their relationship they had stuck through it and had thrived once they got the hang of being with one another. Things had been going great until Orion- Nala's bestfriend had went through something traumatic in his life and they'd opened their home to him. Based in 2020, outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia Capri Laurent, a 19 year old community college student pursuing a degree with no real end goal in mind. With a once in a lifetime opportunity with a full basketball scholarship to GSU Harlem would have been stupid to turn it down. However life had a twisted and fucked up way of making good people hurt. When his mother and only living family member is diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer Harlem is forced to touch bases with old connects and pick up a not so safe side hustle. All while balancing his sport management degree and his grilling basketball requirements. Seemingly both alone in their own ways, who knew that an old hardly in use skating rink, a few joints, and good old r&b story telling would bring two drowning souls together and make life seem all the more bearable.
