He tried to strangle Riddick with his own umbilical cord and thought Riddick died, but Riddick actually survived. Laura’s mother stayed with both of them until Riddick turned 13, and then she left him with an elderly couple knowing she was only going for one more year. She stayed with an elderly Lady until her last dying breath. The elderly cared for her, but what happens when she dies? Does Riddick find his lost sister? Do they survive?

Shadow doesn't know a lot about herself but she does know her name and that she woke up in an alley with only some clothes and money. After taking a ship that ends up crashing, Shadow realizes she's in for the ride of her life. While trying to survive Shadow will find out about her past, find new family and maybe even love.
