This story is inspired by the Turkish series Erkenci Kuş and its protagonists; I have taken some of the characters and their roles in the novel to create it, so it may bear some similarity to the plot we saw on screen. ______ Can and Sanem are two free souls whose paths cross by chance one random night, where, unsuspectingly, they will mark the beginning of a story they were not prepared for.

10 minutes can be an eternity or a blink of an eye depending on where you're standing. For Sanem Aydin it was all the time it took to loose what she loved more than life itself, but she wouldn't look back. Those ten minutes showed her that her love was not reciprocated in kind and that it had all been an illusion crafted by an experienced seducer upon a naive and foolish girl. The battle for their love seemed to be never ending as Polen and Yigit tried to once again come between Can and Sanem. They were both determined to follow their destiny and let nothing come between them. Polen was the last person that Can thought would try and destroy him, but she had turned into an imbalance, unstable and scorned woman, with nothing but Can on her mind.

Can is very disappointed and angry to find out that Sanem has sold her perfume to Fabbri, and is convinced that their relationship is over. Sanem is devastated and has to make drastic decisions in order to continue her life without him, she has to defend herself from so much pain, she has to get away from everything and everyone. Can will come to understand that he has acted too much when it is too late, Sanem has left Istanbul and nobody knows where she has gone. How can he remedy his mistake if he can't reach her to talk to her? It can't be over just like that, he has to do something, he has to ask her for another chance, another chance to love again.

It's been three month since Sanem relocated to an Island in the Mediterranean and fine's that it is the best decision she made and heals within. Oh, the special people she meets, but will it make her want to stay permanently? Can and JJ search many Islands to look for her. If they find her, can these two men in her life convince her to return home and live happily ever after.
