A Newtmas Fanfiction. Ever since Thomas has arrived in the Glade, Newt has been fascinated by him. Based on The Maze Runner by James Dashner, this is the story of two ordinary boys being tested by WICKED for a cure to the flare that have learned to survive and love each other all the way to the end. Good that? Good that. (I am not James Dashner in any way so I do not own the characters, setting, or storyline and I was not the first to think of Newtmas, even though I've always shipped it)

It's Thomas's first day as a runner and his first task is to explore the maze with a partner, Newt. But as soon as Thomas and Newt start exploring the maze, dreadful things happen that puts both Thomas and Newt's lives as risk. But what happens after the maze could change everything.

Thomas is an average teenage boy. He's been having strange dreams involving a boy who seems familiar, but he can't quite figure out who. Thomas soon meets the boy and realizes how special the boy actually is.

*This is the first story I've ever written. I am kind of ashamed of how bad it is. PLEASE read my other story “Newtmas - what happens in the glade...” Before you say I'm an awful writer. I know that one isn't amazing either but I feel it's more entertaining and overall better. He meets a boy called Newt, the only glader he grows to like, and he realises that Newt is all he has in this strange new world. But what if this boy, Newt, has a darker past then Thomas thought? How would he know, when he doesn't even know his own past? What will the past cause for them? Will they escape the maze, escape the hell? Will they want to? And will they find something they weren't looking for? Will they find love?

Thomas. That's what he is to everyone else. But to Newt, he is Tommy, and something so much more than just Thomas. Having a crush sucks. It sucks even more if it's your friend, who is a guy, when you are also a guy, who is probably straight. Yeah. Welcome to the world of Newton Isaacson.
