A harsh but true group of poems that might just put the light to a couple of matters people face everyday...please read the last entry, it exspains my reasons

She has secrets, secrets you’ll never know, secrets you’ll never understand. She’s someone that looks so strong with her knives and guns on the outside. But inside, inside her world is constantly spinning upside down and never right. She smiles and stands tall to the outside world, but in her inner world she is crying and breaking down. To the eyes of others she seems so happy, but when those eyes are closed, and left alone with her pillow to share her tears with. She is aware that she cannot get her hopes up in life because they always come crashing down. She’s heard everything before and felt it; she’s experienced more than her share. She trusts no one because all the people she has already trusted left her to gather all the pieces. She believes in no one because people she has already believed in lied and betrayed her. Now in the present she keeps everything to herself and pretends that everything is fine, but if truth be told nothing is fine. I’ve known this girl since birth because this girl is me. And I am Kiara, just Kiara.
